Do you think it is OK to be friends with ex girlfriends or boyfriends? Why or why not?

Absolutely OK!  There are many aspects of the relationship that have nothing (or little) to do with being romantically involved. I am friends with one man that I used to date and my current boyfriend is also friends with some ladies he used to date. "Breaking up" does not change your history with that special person and friendship is an awesome way to continue to share God's love with him or her.

I just answered this Featured Question, you can answer it too!

Pics with my new digital camera!

Hello everyone!

I have some fun news.  A dear friend who I've known over 13 years bought me the purple (digital) camera that I had been wanting.  It was a birthday gift to me!  We also went to Leann Chin to eat and to Coldstone Creamery for dessert.  (This was on Thursday.)

Soo...I did my best to take some pictures this weekend.  I met my friend K from Wisconsin at the Mall of America for lunch on Saturday.  She was with her 2 kids, mother-in-law, sister-in-law and 2 nephews.

This is K. holding her daughter, meeting the Shark mascot from Underwater World. I have another pic of the daughter.  I did not ask permission to post her daughter's pic so I am just showing this one.

This is a far-away shot of K.'s son and nephew on the Kiddie Bumper Cars.  Yes the Amusement Park is full of Nickelodeon characters!

Okay now to the pictures from today (Sunday).  It was my city's Cinco De Mayo celebration (weather conditions did not allow it to occur last Monday).  My boyfriend's church had a children's praise and worship performance there.  One of the songs they sang in Spanish was "Shout to the Lord," one of my favorite songs! Here are 2 pictures from their performance.

I took 2 other pictures at the Cinco De Mayo, one of them was blurry, though I am still learning with the camera!

Interesting vendor sign!

Pony rides.

I also got together with my friend J. this afternoon.  Here she is with her dog, S.  I like how this turned out!

I hope you liked my update and I hope there will be many more fun updates to come with help from my new camera.

What Carnival Ride Are You?

You Are a Log Ride
You prefer to live a fairly calm, relaxed life... with a few surprises thrown in.
You don't tend to get yourself worked up easily. You can roll with what life throws at you.
In relationships, you are steady and solid. You maintain a pretty broad perspective on what's going on.
That's not to say you can't get swept away. You're emotions run as deep as anyone else's.

Your life seems like it has been remarkably easy so far. But that's due to how you manage it.
You never stretch yourself too thinly, and you think out your decisions carefully.
Taking the time to enjoy each day is important to you, and you don't let your emotions rule you.
You stay the course and do what's right... knowing it will all work out in the end.

At your best, you are tolerant and understanding of other people's quirks.
You take "go with the flow" to the extreme. Even if you don't like where you're going.
At your worst, you repress your feelings and end up being a little tightly wound.
You definitely have some explosive emotions that occasionally come to the surface!

Easter is so early this year

I hope everyone has a Blessed Easter.  I will be sad to not be able to celebrate this Holiday in the Springtime.  It's still winter here!

Last night after church, I watched an informational show about the making of the Passion of the Christ. It was a special feature on the "Definitive Edition" DVD.  Very interesting interviews.

I also wanted to share a picture of me (back row) with some members of the Optimist Club I belong to.
